This equipment is for measuring the calories of Air-con. It also measures various kinds of data including pressure and electric properties of the Air-con. Room type Calorimeter Method: using the room as a calorimeter, to calculate out the capacity of the UUT by measuring the energy needed at rated working condition. The method can be performed both in inside and outside rooms of the calorimeter at the same time. The test result of the inside test is considered as standard rating , and the outside test can be regards as the proof experiment. Ambient conditions are achieved in both indoor and outdoor sides to meet different requirements of the tests.
Accuracy Test----Rated cooling capacity tests in the two sides at the same time. (balance) Acceptable differences of indoor side and outdoor side---- For the cooling capacity≥2500W, ≤2.0% of difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
For the cooling capacity<2500W, ≤50W of difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
Repeatability test---- Rated cooling capacity tests. Acceptable difference---- For the cooling capacity≥2500W, ≤±1.0% of averaging difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition. For the cooling capacity<2500W, within ±35W of averaging difference for one UUT consecutive 3 times test, which the tests are at the same installation condition.
Master sample as compared to tests---- Rated cooling capacity test. Acceptable difference---- For the cooling capacity≥2500W, ±2% compared to test result from local National Testing Center.
For the cooling capacity<2500W, within ±50W compared to test result from local National Testing Center.
